Prohibited Practices
Violating corporate bylaws, rules, Masonic law, or the law of the land.
Unauthorized use of the name "DeMolay" and other intellectual property for commercial/business purposes.
Furnishing personal identification information of members for commercial/business purposes, except to licensees.
Soliciting the public as a fundraising project, engaging in fundraising, or conducting entertainments for the Chapter without written Executive Officer approval.
Wearing uniform in public, except for specific occasions (funeral, Obligatory Day, public installation) or by EO dispensation.
Ownership of any motorized vehicle by a subordinate unit (Chapter, Priory, Advisory Council, etc.) is forbidden and automatically causes suspension.
Confidentiality: Board members and staff must keep confidential information relating to Board meeting discussions, unless compelled by law or agreed by the Board. Results of actions can be discussed, but not the discussions themselves.
Conflict of Interest: Board members, officers, and employees must place DeMolay's interest foremost. Material interests in transactions must be disclosed. Personal business with DeMolay without disclosure is prohibited. Those with potential conflicts must not participate in discussion or voting on the matter
