Executive Officers
A Class 1 member assigned a Jurisdiction is the Executive Officer (EO) and representative of DeMolay International in that Jurisdiction.
Must live or work in their Jurisdiction or an adjacent one. Responsible for administration, extension, and promotion of the Order in their Jurisdiction.
May exercise all necessary power not prohibited by bylaws or rules.
Appoints all registered adult advisors who have completed training and filed required applications.May remove any Advisory Council member or adult worker not performing duties.Investigates and recommends applications for Letters Temporary and Charters for Chapters.
May waive time requirements for membership applications, balloting, and degree conferral in their Jurisdiction.May declare a candidate elected or rejected if it promotes the Order's best interest.
May approve or disapprove all fundraising activities.Takes possession of Chapter property upon Charter surrender or cessation.
Officers and members of an Advisory Council and subordinate units serve at the pleasure of the Executive Officer, who may disapprove their selection or remove them.
All EOs are members of the Executive Officers' Conference, which must meet at least every two years
